Our school is a private secondary school located in Antalya, Turkey. It was founded in 2017 with 8 classrooms, an ICT lab, A Science lab and an technolgy and design workshop room. We have 15 staff including 1 headmaster, 1 deputy headmaster, 1 counselors and 12 teachers. We are partner of an ongoing Erasmus school partnership project as our first experience. Our school is a small scale private school aims to build and enhance capacity through cross-border partnerships and international cooperations.
What are the organisation’s activities in the field of this application?
Having a special interest in music and theater play, we take part in art competitions and contest in local level. We have a deep motivation to enlarge the vision of our school internetionally and we aim to bring our experience in music and acting into international level. The quality of our staff and the capacity of our students is enough to fullfil all of our tasks in this project. Our team leaders are 2 English teachers who are really good in their job. They will be responsible for assuring a good teamwork in fullfiling our responsibilities best. Our music teacher will compose a melody for the project within her class. And our Turkish Language teacher will be dealing with acting based tasks of the planned activites, which is a part of their curriculum. The councellor will deal with full involvement of the students with fewer opportunities in the planned activities. ICT teacher will work on the digital materials, website, etwinning and social platforms etc.
What profiles and age groups of learners are concerned by the organisation’s work?
We have 87 students aged from 11 to 14. The project will involve all the school community including the students with fewer opportunities and the disadvantaged ones in terms of enhancing inclusive education. Our main goal is to involve as many of our students and teachers into the transnational and local project activities as possible. We conveyed a survey among our students and the result shows us that 97 % of our students want to join in transnational learning activities.
